Die Heimat is in a quiet, peaceful village. It's located in Homestead, which is just a few minutes from the village of Amana, where many attractions are located. Marc and June are gracious hosts. The breakfasts are exceptional. Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable and spacious. I wholeheartedly recommend Die Heimat!

Marc and June were so kind and accommodating. We needed a late check in and they were very quick to respond and awesome to accommodate us! The breakfast was delicious and June quickly offered and whipped up some eggs especially for my husband because he has a mushroom allergy (which I completely forgot to tell them about) and one of her many breakfast options contained mushrooms. Another lady had a gluten allergy and she kindly had special options for her, as well. They were delightful conversationalists and made us feel right at home!

We love Die Heimat. It’s close to everything Amana and is just a short drive to Iowa City and Cedar Rapids. Karin provided excellent care for us and made sure we had everything we needed. We felt at home at the Inn. The area is peaceful and beautiful. Highly recommend stay here 😊
