Very good stay and will come again
A lovely hotel with great facilities, I am only sorry my stay was too short to visit the spa and walk around. The pub is pleasant and the nearby Thai restaurant served a delicious dinner. Great staff, highly recommended.

New Year Break at Parsonage Hotel
We had a good stay at the Parsonage Hotel and Spa. On the first day, the heating was not on in our room. It was pretty cold but it took a few hours for the room to heat up. The lady in reception asked us to keep the electricity on. However from the second night onwards, the heating was fine and the weather also got a bit milder. The spa was operating on limited times so we could only make use of it on two of the nights. But it was excellent with great, clean facilities and it was good because it was adults only. The room was a good size and in a quiet location in the hotel. The breakfasts were good at the hotel. The evening meals were hearty and good being served at the Fat Abbott put next door. The location is good for exploring York because it was 20-30 minutes by car.

6/10 Good

New Years Eve stay - restaurant linked to hotel closed at 11pm. Bar in hotel dead but porter great stated up until 2pm. Towels fluffy and huge ☺️ toilet NOT clean on arrival, all carpets shabby and Coach house where we stayed smelt musty. At breakfast had to ask for tea/coffee young girls serving not confident. Beautiful old property, just needs money spending which imagine due to Covid etc has spoilt everything. Spa lovely though, clean and enjoyed that very much.
