Exceptional 10.0
2nd time as good as the first
This is the 2nd time stayyed here and they have both been very comfortable stays with happy friendly staff. You can also leave your luggage so you can sightsee with out having to carry it about all day. Ot is very close to both victoria coach and train station so dont have to go far when you are tired and all you want to do is go to sleep. Definitely book this place again if we return to London.

Very good 8.0
The location was absolutely perfect, the staff were lovely and very helpful, the shower in the bathroom was excellent but unfortunately the bed was not very comfortable at all. Despite that, we had a lovely time.

Exceptional 10.0
Had a wonderful stay at the Astor’s. Set in a pleasant, quiet, tree lined street. The area is clean and most of the shops have flowers decorating the facade and windows. Quiet yet close to the National Express coach station and within walking distance to Victoria transport hub (overground/underground and red buses). The hotel itself is spread over 4 well appointed buildings, with the reception clearly marked. The staff were welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Our twin room (I was travelling with my daughter) was clean, well appointed and comfortable. It was situated at the back of the hotel which meant it was incredibly quiet. Bathroom was modern, clean and looked newly refurbished, the shower was excellent! Beds were comfortable and the A/C was efficient and quiet. Continental breakfast served in the conservatory in the main building was lovely, plenty of choice and a relaxed way to start the day.

Average hotel in great location
Staff quite friendly. The room was ridiculously small. Bed comfy. Shower very good. Breakfast fine but nothing special.Would only stay again only if there a bigger room.Great location .

Fair 4.0
Disappointing stay
I booked a room with double beds x2 and when shown to room it was a double and a chair bed which was grubby and the bedding toppers stained . There was layers of dust above the bed frame and the hotel was generally looking old and tired and in need of a coat of paint. The first impression was a grubby chipped entrance door and there was yellow and black hazard tape in several areas of the reception floor that had not been repaired. The furniture was past its best and in need of repairs . The reception staff were welcoming and when I raised my concern that the room I had booked was not what I was given . I was offered another room . Which had 2 double beds and was cleaner than what we were given . The room was down steep stairs on the basement floor and the steep stairs to this room need a wall rail fitted to ensure the safety of guests to navigate their way up and down the stairs. Staff were helpful although it would be polite to talk in English in front of guests rather than another language when staff are talking to each other in front of English speaking guests .
