Good 6.0
Perfect location, right next to the M&S bank Arena & Albert docks. Lovely new Hotel but still some teething problems. We arrived at 1pm , check in is from 2pm so they kindly took our bags for safe keeping & was asked to either wait around or go have some lunch somewhere, which we did. Came back at 2pm & waited & waited, finally got our room at 4.15! Room was lovely although the mirrors were positioned too high for me so had difficulty in putting on my face! Beautifully sound proofed room, we couldn’t hear a thing. A good choice of breakfast although you had to wait to be served your tea & coffee which was very slow in coming! Would be better if everything was self service.

Very good 8.0
Good rooms, customer service could be polished
Very nice room, comfy bed - pillows a bit odd either large square soft or hard memory foam - not a deal breaker. I had a sandwich at the bar which was good, my room service Ceaser salad not so good, too many anchovies, and the chicken I added as an option was cold - as in come out of a very cold fridge cold, I've had good ceaser salads before where the chicken is hot/warm and this would have been better, so was left uneaten. Breakfast was OK, ther service at this hotel - while OK, it seems to be a very young group of staff who like to spend there time standing around chatting with each other, gives a bad impression. They are OK when you go over to them to ask for service, but really when the bar is table service (and quiet) it would be better if you didnt have to go up to the bar to ask the waitress to take your order - to have them then insist on following you to the table to do so!? Better service would be if the attended to customers without having to be fetched to do so. That said its a small gripe ( I noticed others mentioned it so must be the norm here) the hotel is a good standard, the rooms are on the luxury side of things. Parking is off site, and the open car park next to the hotel is pay and display coins only..... however there is another less than 5 mins walk where you can phone and pay by credit card.

Exceptional 10.0
Weekend Break.
Only had a 1 night stay here for a concert, hotel was perfectly located, not only for the concert venue (Echo arena), but also just a short walk from the city centre, so to summarise: [+] GREAT LOCATION - SMART HOTEL - FANTASTIC BREAKFAST - MOST COMFORTABLE HOTEL BED I'VE EVER HAD. [-] CHECK IN WAS AT 14:00HRS, WE ARRIVED AT APPROX 14:15, AND WERE TOLD TO TAKE A SEAT IN THE LOBBY AS THE ROOM WAS NOT READY (ALONG WITH MANY OTHER GUESTS TRYING TO CHECK IN), FOR ALMOST THE NEXT HOUR, NOT ONE OF THE MANY STAFF MEMBERS CAME OVER TO US TO EITHER UPDATE US OR APOLOGISE, WHICH WAS DISAPPOINTING. This did not detract from a lovely stay at a lovely hotel, but if I may suggest for the future Pullman, if there are going to be long delays for guests to check into their rooms, perhaps the offer of a bottle (or even a glass) of water would go down well, especially if guests (like us) have had a long journey to the hotel, like they say, 'First impressions last', and sometimes the smallest of things can make a big difference. This hotel does come highly recommended by me though, as it was very clean, staff were well presented, the breakfast was superb, and the bed was fantastically comfortable, we will definitely book this hotel again in the future.

Superb hotel
We booked our stay at this hotel for our short city break due to reviews, location and price on offer. I chose to book a superior double room with a king sized bed. Upon check in which was straightforward we were allocated a room on the 8th floor. The room was as described and had all the facilities listed on the specific room details. The view from the room was superb, looking out over the dock area, river Mersey and across into the city. The location of the hotel is close to the exhibition centre and Liverpool arena. The Albert Dock area is 5 minutes walk away and it's a 10 minutes walk to Liverpool One shopping area. Although the hotel doesn't have its own parking spaces this isn't a problem as there are several car parks close by. The room was very quiet and during our stay we didn't hear any noise from outside or other rooms. We had breakfast at the hotel and this consisted of juices, cereals, fruit, continental meats and cheeses together with full English breakfast. Coffee/tea was brought to our allocated table and you could go upto the various food sections numerous times. Would definitely recommend staying here and we will do when we return to Liverpool in the future.

Very good 8.0
Hotel is clean and comfortable with parking very close. Room was comfortable and modern with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Shower a little underpowered, though and bathroom sink very low with nowhere to put your things while your getting ready. Marco Pierre White restaurant internal to the hotel has poor reviews and is expensive. Very limited selection of indie eating places within easy walking distance on a rainy night in October. Car park expensive at £15 overnight! Breakfast was OK but sausages were cheap and tasteless.
