Blue Skies Bed and Breakfast

Honestly, the cleanest, most beautiful, most hospitable B&B we have EVER stayed at! The breakfast was made with love. Wonderful homemade breads, eggs and fruit with fresh made cream yum. This couple is so sweet, we felt like we were staying with family. It’s also within walking distance from the historic downtown. They even gave us tons of coupons for tastings at the wineries. Definitely recommend and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Loved it!

This was a wonderful property. Kumari and Ranju were so welcoming and hospitable. The breakfasts were AMAZING. From the freshly prepared juice to the fruit dishes and the hot entrees. The freshly baked loaves with a variety of ingredients were wonderful. We certainly didn't need lunch after such a large breakfast. They were very knowledgeable about the area and ready to help out in any way that they could. We really appreciated this hospitality.

This property was spotless and modern, and the bed was a very luxurious oversized king. Kumari and Ranju, the owners/hosts, were so hospitable, had the room prepared with a towel swan on the bed and cold waters, continually checked on any needs, and served the world's best breakfasts. We enjoyed every aspect of our visit with them and their B&B, from their proximity to town, to their constant friendly hospitality, and their delicious homemade juices, breads, hot breakfast, and assortment of coffees and teas. We highly recommend this B&B!

Stay was amazing: fantastic room, great breakfast, and wonderful hots. Hosts were very gracious, knowledgeable about the restaurants and wineries in the area, and interested in our feedback about the places we attended.

Ranju and Kumari are the epitome of generous hosts. Breakfast every day was an exquisite experience of homemade delights. Our room was well appointed and clean. The location is convenient to parks, walking trail and downtown Niagra on the Lake. This was, by far, our best B&B experience to date.

The hosts were so accommodating and concerned that every detail of our stay was to our satisfaction. The house was spotless and the attention to detail in little things was outstanding! And then there was the breakfast...oh my,... Kumari is a chef of the first order. We were not used to the level of presentation and taste she provided! I would not hesitate to stay there again if we return to the area.

This is a delightful place to stay. The room was beautifully appointed. The hosts are very attentive to all your needs and considerate in every way. The breakfasts are delicious with fresh sweet bread, croissants and fruit to begin, followed by a freshly made warm dish made to each individual’s tastes and dietary needs. It is meticulously clean and decorated.

Lots of positives. Great room, friendly hosts, enjoyable breakfast. So why only 3 out of 5? Several issues that my friend and I found less than ideal first dropped it down to 4: its location is not that close to the town's main street (20 minute walk to theaters) and the walk home after the theater was not well lit in some places; there were too many rules and too much structure, such as the breakfast being exactly at 9am and the requirement to remove shoes at the front door even though it's hard wood floors throughout; there was a need to juggle cars because of lack of parking. What later dropped it down to 3 in our eyes was some subtle pressure experienced on the way out. Asking people to sign a guest book with the proprietors hovering is silly. But much worse was when I was asked to sign for the VISA payment and 3 tip levels were suggested. Of course I clicked on another "no tip" option. I always tip staff in restaurants and hotels quite well, but one does not tip ownership (if owners want more, then they should charge more!) While this is obvious enough in a hotel, I have stayed in B and B's about 10 times and have never experienced a tip nudge. I am sure though that lots of guests feel pressured into tipping. Not a good way to get repeat business!

Best experience ever. Great location to walk to town. Loved the themed rooms. Homemade croissants for breakfast, fruit and egg bake and fresh made juice. Thank you to our wonderful host and hostess looking forward to our return visit next fall.
