We spent 5 nights here after a week in Bentotatheroom was verynice and breakfastbuffet was variedwe had some evening meals too and whilst nice they got abit sameyafter a time
Excellent views, room and restaurant.Pool was too small and bar similarly was tiny. It is a drive away from tourist attractions but this .meant we were well rested in peaceful surrounds.
Excellent rooms, very nice food and choices i restaurant with helpful staff. Pool area was disappointing with very little room considering the size of the hotel.
Clean property and staff are helpful. But hard to get to the property as to climp a steep hill.
Mixed experience. Standard room disappointing with no balcony or outlook; we would have paid extra for a luxury room had we known. Inattentive staff in restaurant on first night, second night improved after we complained. Food was very good but the dinning room is tight and at times crowded and difficult to get to the buffet.
Firstly I wish to point out that I thought I was booking Earls Regency which is a 5* hotel My biggest mistakeThis hotel although rated 4* is not upto that standard The service was poor The room was small but comfortable There were no towels -had to ask. The food was very basic -including the Sri Lankan dishes It was also cold despite being on a food warmer Glad I was only staying one night! The good point is it is out of Kandy -near to Peradeniya Therefore can "escape" when leaving without getting caught to the Kandy traffic and one way system The views were good It was quiet

Superb hotel and excellent value for money given the standard. Lovely poor area and the staff were so friendly and attentive without being over-bearing. The room in the newest part of the hotel was first rate. The food was also excelleng. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel.
That was such a surprise. Beautifully located hotel, at the top of the hill, surrounded by other hills, all covered in lush tropical greenery providing stunning views from every corner of the hotel. Just off from Kandy, a few mintues ride by Tuk Tuk, 4 km. Amazing food, really whatever tried was delicious. Nice pool with a view. And service people - doing all their best to help you and make your stay comfortable. Must try for every traveller.
Hotel is amazing- great views and very comfortable. The buffet was terrible- cold food and very very limited options! The staff have no real hospitality experience it seems, often being shouted at by superiors and being order to say "good morning" to guests and ask "how was your breakfast?". The staff working at the breakfast buffet were rubbing their eyes as if they hadnt slept and the young man at the egg station was picking his nose whilst cooking eggs- yuk!
