Fair 4.0
Noisy apartment and overpriced
I thought it was overpriced for what it is. A very tired apartment with a broken curtain rail and a very active upstairs neighbor - very noisy.

Double booked and cancelled 2hrs before arriving
We booked this place about 1-2 weeks prior to our weekend in London. We called up the Marylebone property at midday to ask for the access code, a lady answered, then put us on hold, then the lady told us they would send it via email within the next three hours. Within ten minutes of the call, we received an email from Hotels.com saying the booking was cancelled due to overbooking. We were just about to get a train to London and had no where booked to stay. Hotels.com we’re ok, they have us a £50 voucher to use for the next booking (not helpful to contribute towards finding another hotel which was likely to be pricier for a last minute booking), and they said they could find another property but the process over the phone was slow and painful. Not happy with the Marylebone apartments for not being well prepared and giving us advance notice, even when we called up. Happy-ish with Hotels.com for the credit but they didn’t call us, they didn’t really help us, they just emailed us and asked us to call them.

Great place but rude & disrespectful service
The apartment was excellent and very clean. Access was smooth so good first impressions. We booked the place just for one night as we were at an event finishing in the early hours so planned for a lie in before checking out at 11am and heading home. However, at 9:25 there was a very loud knock at the door waking us up and someone shouting hello. We ignored it as were just waking up with it but then the person opened the door and came in saying he was with housekeeping. I shouted that we are in bed still and he left. 45 minutes later he came bank. We were still undressed. I told him that he shouldn’t walk in and that he disturbed us and he just started arguing back that it was his job and he was told to by his manager. He wouldn’t leave but just wanted to argue. I said I would complain to his manager about him disturbing us and was told that I would be told the same thing as the manager told him he has to come and knock and check. I wasn’t there to argue so said goodbye and closed the door. It was a terrible end to a short stay and whilst I was thinking that the location and property would make an excellent base for future visits there is no way we will ever stay there again with such rude and disrespectful service.

Very good 8.0
You get what you pay for. Functional.
The top floor is quiet but a long way up with luggage. Comfy bed and good heating. Kettle didn't work and I had no idea who to talk to to get it fixed until I read the small print on a sign at the top of the stairs when leaving. Sadly.
