Good hotel, but not really a "luxury" experience
This hotel is good - but not amazing. The rooms are large and we had an in-room jacuzzi with two balconies facing the sea, separate living area, two bathrooms... however the thing that sets hotels apart is the service. Staff are generally friendly and willing to help, but I get the impression any of them are not that experienced and need a little longer to learn - they need to do more than smile and look welcoming! Some examples: you may have to ask a couple of times for a request to be fulfilled, but they will do it; check in seems to involve a lot of paperwork - but do I really need to wait for 25 mins while you shuffle papers around? When i checked in, it seemed that only one person could be checked in at a time - very laborious in my view. The hotel does require a little walk up the hill, but I'd say the play off between location and views / environment is worth it. Food at the hotel is good, but not amazing. Again, not what I would call "luxury." Not especially cheap, either. However, there are no end of good restaurants near by, and the hotel rooftop bar with jacuzzis has its advantages... Essentially, the hotel is good and I'd be happy to stay again, but might try to get a slightly better rate and hope that the staff become a bit more "professional". However, they are well-meaning and do try.

StairMaster not required
The hotel appears to still be under construction. The room was spacious, beautiful and well appointed. The location of the hotel against the side of the mountain results in three difficulties. First, there are only two ways into the hotel. From the beach side, it’s literally a five story walk up. From the road side, it’s up a steep cobblestone road to the 10th flor entrance. During our stay (and at checkout) that road was mostly closed for construction. (After checkout we had to walk down five floors to leave the hotel) Second, the hotel is very damp. Though this is “hot” season, the humidity at this hotel was far higher than the other two hotels we stayed at (Sheraton and Tropicana) on the same trip. The room was outfitted with an air conditioner and a separate dehumidifier. Even with those, the floor was literally always wet with condensation. We needed to hang out all our clothes when we arrived at our next hotel because they were all damp. Third, none of the common areas are air conditioned, and being closed in both the mountain side and sea side, they are very hot and stuffy. Service, I’ll offer an example. We arrived noon and check in is at 3. They kindly took our bags, but with no cool public areas and no access to swimming attire, we left the hotel and went to town, asking them to text us when the room was ready. We never got a text.

Nice, but...
Nice resort. If you want peace and quite this may not be tne best place unless thumping bass from the 13th floor restaurant relaxes you.

Luxury for gay clientele very good
Really nice property. Check in process seemed endless. Many rules and regulations. Used in room jacuzzi which was amazing. Simple things like light bulbs not working. Two in our room for instance. Roof top breakfast excellent.

The food was okay but they need some major renovations to the site.
