In town stay
Was having a non driving drinking night and this was perfect for just that! Was great location for what we wanted and the room itself was perfect!

Poor 2.0
Renter beware
Room was booked for this past Wed night. Of the 2500 hotel nights we've stayed in, none required special checkin instructions so we were unaware check in was required prior to stay. We booked with hotels.com. Called the hotel number night of, recording states we called an entirely different number that was dialed. hotels.com got same result. After 2 hours of us, hotels.com and ,local security guard calling we decided to drive 45 mins to another available hotel. Everything in ABQ was sold out, senior games. It's now friday and still no call back. RENTER BEWARE.. this is NOT a normal hotel that you find on hotels.com. Security guard said this happens fairly frequently and the owner never calls back the same night.

Fair 4.0
Proceed with caution
This is not a hotel. Its more of an extended stay. That, in itself, is not a deal breaker for me but it was unexpected. No front desk but there is a support line. Karl was very nice but if you prefer someone on site, at a front desk like a traditional hotel this is concept would not be for you. Room was not secure when I arrived. Door was propped open, likely by housekeeping staff, and they forgot to lock it when they left. Room is very large. Kitchen and living area are adequate. There was an odor of cologne from the previous tenant so that made it feel a bit unclean. Turned on shower and notices suds filling the tub. Reason: the water was slow to drain and clearly the last tenant(s) soap scum was left behind (Yuck!) Tried to stand at the back and shower quickly before th"old" water reached my feet. Then found out that the shampoo and shower gel were already used. About two drops of product in each. (Yuck, again) Not the best neighborhood in burque. You would not walk to anything from this venue ... except the homeless shelter that is about 2 blocks away. (I wonder if their shower has resudue from the previous tenant ... hmmm, next trip I guess) This place could be great. It needs a good cleaning and a little more management (security guard was really nice but his job is security not hospitality) and people should be told more upfront that it is essentially a short term furnished apartment rental. Then you can plan, buy your own shampoo an such etc.

Exceptional 10.0
perfect stay for Sr Olympic games
A new-look 1 bedroom apt for a low price. No competition, unless prefer a regular high-rise chain hotel. And no hidden costs like some I have encountered. Washer dryer, complete kitchen.
