This is a really lovely small hotel. All the amenities are there and are fantastic but for the amount paid I think my room needed some tidying up around the edges really. The reception in our living room tv for terrestrial channels was poor, some of the decor needed a bit of tlc, tiles on the bathroom floor were a little loose, a bulb out in the bathroom and I’m not sure what the screen in the shower was for, maybe a tv that no longer works. I feel a bit guilty mentioning this stuff because we had a great time and the beds were super comfortable.

2 days well spent at this lovely homely property! Located in a great place with easy parking. Richard is a right bloke, would loved to have stayed up talking to him at the bar but after walking the local fells went to relax in the brilliant room. First time visiting windermere and booked this hotel for me and the Mr and it did not disappoint! Was absolutely beautiful! The rooms were modern and well decorated and the hot tub in with steam room was just perfect! We enjoyed the breakfast and loved the fact the hotel was not far from the lake.
