Overall very relaxing and a superb hotel. The staff were very friendly and couldn’t be more helpful during our short stay.

Rural mini hotel in gorgeous historical house
Fantastic mini hotel in a great rural setting. A very historical house with only 13 rooms the ones we saw were very nicely appointed and decorated. The staff were all very friendly, knowledgable and helpful. The evening meal was superb and breakfast of a very good standard.

A very nice secluded area for a historic building and let's you have the air of being away from all noises and hustle of main stream life.

Fantastic stay in an old castle.
Stayed in a fantastic old fashioned room in the tower- said to be haunted! Excellent dinner and a very nice and friendly waitress. Impressive building Excellent place to stay. I would thoroughly recommend it.

Appropriate ranking
Lovely old world property with some modern interior design features in the rooms. Although we were very close to the reception, the WiFi didn't work, so that wasn't helpful. We only stayed for one night and it was probably just bad luck but there wasn't a table set up for us for breakfast and it took longer than it should have done to rectify the situation. However, once that was done the full English breakfast was very good, although the alternative options were rather limited, with some being less than ideal. Overall it's worth the ranking it gets.

This hotel has great potential, service great, breakfast was very impressive. However the rooms could really do with some major refurbishment. The bedroom part of our room was ok but the bathroom looked like it’s been pulled from the 80’s. Due to this I think the room pricing is a little high.

i could not rate it as they cancelled me . I had to find another hotel not happy with them at all

Business trip, short stay.
The most unfortunate thing about the hotel was that I was only stopping overnight. The welcome, room, setting and room were second to none. It also looks a perfect place to hold a wedding, family function or Christmas celebration, as there were many areas already setup. I would definitely use the hotel if or when I'm back in the area on business, or even for a short break.
