Perfect location
Joe was very welcoming and friendly. Always on hand if anything wanted. The house is a lovely huge house with history that just needs a little TLC. Would definitely go back. Thanks

Pleasant stay, and friendly/helpful manager
We were welcomed to Belmont Hall by Joe, the manager, who we found to very friendly, and helpful. The hotel itself is a beautiful old Georgian house and the room and common areas were very clean, though a little tired looking. Breakfast was hearty and served with a smile. A central location and handy for a few local eateries and bars. Newry was a convenient stop over between Portrush and Comber, and a great base for exploring the Mourne Mountains and Silent Valley. A pleasant stay, thank you

Great place to stay
This hotel was a real find. The building is beautiful with real period character and I loved my room. Service was efficient but friendly. I was expecting to get wifi only in public areas but it was accessible with ease in the bedroom and was totally reliable and fast. If I had known that beforehand I would have been able to book a longer stay. Newry was really interesting and had some lovely buildings. I knew little about it and my plans were for the surrounding area, but I had to adjust them. I feel Newry is much underrated and overlooked as a tourist destination and centre. It has a lot of potential. The hotel is perfectly situated to be able to enjoy town and country.
