The Coachman Hotel
Nice hotel and would definitely go back.
I liked the hotel except misrepresented the room or it didn’t go through correctly to the hotel. I reserved a “pet friendly” room but at their end it only showed a “regular” type room. Good thing I still had my confirmation that sent me to prove what I paid for. The hotel was very nice and unique, liked that check-in was at their bar. Enjoyed the s’mores cookout, hot tub, happy hour drinks, etc. lots of pets that night we were there but all very friendly.

Amazing but a few missing pieces
Love the space, design, breakfast and bar but for some reason the deluxe King room we booked came with an empty minibar and no clock/radio/speaker situation to speak of.

Nice but needs a bit more..
Hotel reminds me of a ski resort. Hotel rooms on the upper floor are painted OSB boards only & cold since there’s no carpet. there are a few area rugs. Downstairs rooms are on concrete floors with a few area rugs and this is why I give it a lower rating for comfort because you pretty much had to have socks or shoes on as it was chilly on the feet. It’s cute how they updated a very old hotel into a modern way but missed out on a few points. King bed rooms have a very small toilet shower room that is so small the door barely clears the toilet. You basically have to stand in the shower to close the door and you can’t put a towel down on the floor or you can open or close the door. King bed rooms have a very small toilet shower room that is so small door barely clears the toilet. You basically have to stand in the shower to close the door and you can’t put a towel down on the floor or you can’t open or close the door. If you have a double queen bed room the bathrooms are larger. We stayed two nights and changed rooms because we were given the wrong room initially and they had no room to move us to by the time the mistake was rectified. They gave us the next day a room at a reduced rate which I was very satisfied with that as compensation. The breakfast is lacking as most hotels do The make your own waffles option or cereal. I suggest going to Burt’s Caffe a few miles away. Big breakfast great price old-school charm. It’s very quiet place to sleep!
