Enjoy the view
This is a great place to stay if you are looking for a simple no frills B & B in Exeter. Quiet, safe, clean and tidy room with double bed serviced daily. Excellent full breakfast service in panoramic dining room, staff very friendly all round. Two points to note. It is at the top of a hill and the walk up from the train station is fairly strenuous, taxis and local buses are an alternative. Also I had a ground floor room at the back of E block, which meant I had no view at all just a wooded bank which made it quite dark. Access to the Uni's sports facilities is available which may be useful, I would certainly stay here again.

Great University location but cheap hotel
The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The hotel does not have an elevator so one needs to go up to 6 flights of stairs. The bathroom is very small. The bedsheet was not completely clean and there is no TV in the room. If, however, you have work at the University of Exeter, then it is very conveniently located. In the morning it was not very quiet as people were leaving their rooms with doors slamming and conversations being heard that might disturb those trying to rest.
