Great!
Very nice B&B, good, quiet location and very friendly staff. Simon and his son (sorry forgot your name!) were very welcoming. Bed and room comfortable. Well stocked honesty bar too.

A ome from home and more....
This is a home from home and more... A wonderful family run business, we were welcomed and made to feel at home as soon as the door opened. The place is exceptionally clean with many areas to relax including the enclosed rear garden which is a great little sun trap. Our room was spacious and extremely comfortable with plenty of storage. There was a great variety available for breakfast from cereals, fresh fruits and youghurts to a cooked menu that was cooked to the highest of standards. The location is great for getting out and about to explore around the island with the train and bus stations within a short walking distance as well as easy access to the wonders of Shanklin itself. We highly recommend a stay at The Avenue and are hoping to return in the very near future. Thank you for making our stay a great one.

Lovely hotel with friendly proprietors
Lovely hotel, and nice big room. Owners very helpful and friendly. Fantastic breakfast, you can have whatever you want. Further away from town than it looked on map, quite a walk from the nice bit of town. Not too far from beach, but would be quite a hike back up the hill carrying beach towels etc.
