An amazing, interesting house which you will love, especially if you have a sense of history, and enjoy staying in a place that is different from all the rest. Our room was clean, cosy and warm with a lovely view of the garden and of the countryside. The breakfast looked and tasted very good. I cannot recommend visiting Plas Tan-Yr-Allt enough. Its picturesque setting, welcoming hosts and delightful, historic interior all contributed to a memorable Birthday night for my fiancee. We stayed in Shelley's room, which is exceptional. The huge four poster's impressive and remarkably comfortable. We took afternoon tea, a real treat. And their Welsh breakfast in the morning - in a room with and incredible vista - was a perfect start to our day. Thankyou to Mark and Howard. We will definitely visit again.

Great weekend

Had an amazing time. Mark was very helpful and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotless clean, could not have been better, fresh towels every day. The room had all the facilities required, a massive nod to the local products, shampoo, hand washes and locally sauced water etc. The views were spectacular, both from the room and the breakfast room. Breakfast was great, fresh fruit and full English amongst other options. We will definitely stay again, and totally recommend it to everyone.
