We stayed in a cabin and it was nice. Not super fancy in any way but had everything we needed. I would call it more of a 'glamping' type cabin setup. You have everything you need like you would in a hotel room, just in a more fun environment. We were only able to eat breakfast on-site but both times it was really very good. The location is very convenient for Keystone but also convenient for the other nearby attractions such as Mount Rushmore and the Crazy Horse Memorial.

Check in was efficient. We parked right in front of our lodge unit. Unit was small but all we needed for one night. Our lodge required climbing up a flight of outdoor steps - not even. Check with lodge office if you have any mobility concerns. Onsite restaurant was very good for both dinner and breakfast. Upon check-in, we even received a $15 voucher good at the onsite restaurant. Room was clean and had all required amenities. Finally, it was a short drive to Mt Rushmore.
