We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Staff were just brilliant and could not do enough for us. Room was nice and clean with tea and coffee making facilities and a great sea view! Shower was not that powerful but other than that we enjoyed our visit. We were even permitted to bring a takeaway and eat it in the bar! Staff also provided us with plates and cutlery how cool is that!! We will be returning here again next time we visit Eastbourne for sure.

Really enjoyed my stay, hotel staff where very friendly and helpful, hotel room was very clean and bed was very comfortable quite tricky to get shower temperature right sometimes but not a major issue i think. highly reccommend, was algo a very good price for the night as well thank you

Awful hotel
This hotel is very run down and not worth the money. There are cracks in the walls, toilet hanging off the wall, mould on the wall, shower door handle fell off, cracks in the sink and it was a cold room. The breakfast is poor for the money. Only a little given. Cereals kept ouy uncovered and generally dirty. I have included only a few pictures. It was so much worse than these pictures. I would NEVER stay here again.

Fraud alert!
The hotel seems to have nice rooms, but we were given a run-down, tiny, and dirty room to the back, probably not refurbished in the past 30 years. We were told that the "better" rooms were already taken. On hotels.com, there was no picture of that room or anything similar. The receptionist offered us another room; in that room, even the excrements of their last victim were still floating in the loo. I've traveled to 38 countries, I stayed in hotels in Asia and Africa for less than 10 Pound, but I was never given such a disgusting room. We waisted a Saturday night of our holidays finding another accommodation because of the criminal management of this place.

Dirty and disgusting
We booked in and booked out 30 minutes later. The cleanliness of the hotel was disgusting and not fit for purpose. The hotel should have a urgent make over or be shut down. This hotel corridor stunk of urine and the carpet looks 50 years old. This is the worst hotel we have ever booked and we just could not stay amongst the filth
