Bit of a drama - but not the Lodges fault!
We stayed on the last day of the season and were the only guests. Omar met us and there was also a cook and cleaning lady Adele who were very friendly and helpful. Due to an error by Hotels.com not knowing the lodge had new owners our payment had been sent to the previous owners - we are taking this up with Hotels.com as phone number also wrong but given new owners phone numbers. However as no internet at the lodge we could not cancel our booking to get our refund so this is having to be sorted out now we are back in the UK. Obviously at the end of the season (and not expecting us) they were not prepared but made an excellent job at making all ok. Very dry but still some birds and monkeys to see. Disappointed we could not really swim in the sea as a lot of rubbish on the beach and in the water along with seaweed but this is more to do with the position of the bay and out of the Lodges control. Would definitely recommend based on our experience
