Budget hotel-great location for Bay & City Centre
The good - very friendly and helpful staff, great location to walk to Bay and City Centre, very reasonable accommodation for the prices charged (especially if you book early), complimentary tea and coffee can be made by reception and drunk there or back in room. Room had air cooling system (please note, not air conditioning but was still really good to have), Co-op over the road for any snacks, drinks, etc, which is really convenient, very relaxed atmosphere. Things to think about - (all these depend on what you find as worth it for the price paid).... small room, toilet in room is very small, the hotel is next to a main road so can be a little noisy, the view out the window was of the main road, small tv in room. Overall, a great location if you want to walk to Bay (about 20mins approx) or City Centre (15mins approx). It is a no frills budget hotel If you are looking for a hotel on a budget and dont expect too much I highly recommend Ibis Budget Hotel in Cardiff :-) PS. Thanks to the lovely staff member who very kindly kept my bag in storage on check out day so I didnt need to carry it with me to look around Cardiff but then collected it later
