Great location for visiting the famous buildings - most within walking distance. Close to tram/metro stops. Like most cities the traffic is a nightmare so best to walk or use public transport which is easy and cheap. Plenty of good restaurants nearby. The atmosphere and helpfulness between staff at reception and in the dining area at breakfast time was the best possible. Couldn’t have wished for more.

An amazing hotel close to main attractions
What an amazing find this hotel was! We were a large family who stayed for 6 days. Each day was a wonderful experience. From breakfast which catered for all needs to the evenings spent on the rooftop garden. The staff couldn’t be more helpful if they tried. Each member of staff made sure we had a great stay. We also had two babies in the group and it didn’t feel like we were away from home at all. Close to all the local attractions like the Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace, or a 4 min walk to the tram station if you want to venture a little bit further out. I can’t wait until my next stay at the Fer Hotel!!!! Bring it on!

Central hotel with rude staff, difficult management and a lousy fire alarm system. If sleep is important to you, don't stay! Having experienced 3 fire alarms in 2 nights and a refusal by the management to compensate for it in any way, I can't recommend this hotel. The staff were rude, the breakfast was poor and some of the promised perks were not in evidence (coffee machine). It definitely wasn't 5* service. It's the kind of hotel where breakfast is accompanied by Adele on an endless loop and the staff have nothing to do but stare at you whilst you eat. Noisy heating system also didn't help with sleep. Location is great though. Finally, they explicitly refuse to compensate us for our horribly disrupted nights because we have written honest reviews of our experiences. So, all in all, not a pleasant stay, not 5*, and a thoroughly unpleasant manager in charge.
