Nice but needs a little attention to detail.
The hotel was nice, welcoming and had friendly staff. We were a little disappointed with the condition of the room. The fan didn’t work in the toilet, the shower basket was loose and hanging down and the door to the balcony had a broken locking system which was only half there. These minor things can make all the difference to a good or okay visit to a hotel as it did on this ocassion

Avoid !! Refused a room that was paid for!
I booked this hotel for my daughter and her partner. After having received the confirmation from Hotels.com that the hotel was guaranteed and paid for, my daughter arrived to be told she had to go to another hotel as they had no available rooms. The other hotel room was absolutely horrible. It was tiny, the electricity didn’t work and there was no ventilation. I complained to Hotels.com and after they called Hyde Park Boutiques hotel demanding an explanation, they miraculously found a room available. It was on a second floor and there was no lift. My daughter asked them to help with the luggage and they wouldn’t, instead, they moved them to a ground floor room (also available). This room wasn’t anything like the website pictures. The reception staff were very unfriendly and made their stay pretty unhappy. It was a terrible day, dragging suitcases from hotel to hotel to end up in a crappy room and being treated like second class citizens. Never again!!!
