A great short break!
Upon check-in the staff could not have been more accommodating. We had booked the family room and informed the Groes Inn in advance that we had a puppy (toilet trained) with us. The hotel, and its staff, are very dog friendly. The family room (19) is large enough for a young family of four with the large pull out sofa bed and large separate bedroom with queen size bed. Both of which were very comfortable. The room was spacious enough to easily fit our puppy’s medium size sleeping crate too. The room was warm, clean, highly up-kept, nicely decorated, and well equipped with essentials. The bathroom was clean and modern, plentiful for a family. The Inn itself is quaint and has a lot of history. It feels welcoming, as do the staff, and has good choice of food/drinks. We didn’t eat in the Inn in the evening as we went into Conwy but the food looked fresh, well presented and wholesome. We did however have breakfast. The choices were great, both continental buffet and cooked to order, catering for adults and children. Nice touch having the kCal count on the menu too for those in physician training mode/health conscious. Again, staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Breakfast was tasty and fresh, a good start to the day! Check-out was simple. Parking was free and on-site, with 3 Tesla chargers available. Although on a main road route, the road was quiet at night with no sleep disturbance. All-in-all, a great place for a weekend break.

Love the Groes Inn
This is an absolutely wonderful place. I hate that we are only here for the one night. All of the staff were very friendly and eager to please. The countryside is gorgeous. If you come to Wales this is a must stop. The restaurant is top notch as well.😍

Amazing location, very helpful leaflet showing free walks ranging from easy to hard. I did the middle that took you to the most remote church in wales, was absolutely amazing! Staff brilliant, i had to leave before breakfast was served but they still offered to make me something for when i was leaving. Room was cosy and had everything you need. Will definitly stay again next time i am working in the area, which is fairly often!
