Sehr schönes, familiäres Camp

Wir haben das Riverhaus (Familien-Chalet) für 4 Personen gebucht. Das war sehr schön und grosszügig. Die Tiere (Nyala, Warzenschweine usw.) konnten wir von der Terrasse aus beobachten. Im holzbefeuerten Whirpool (wird von den Mitarbeitern aufgeheizt, kostet zusätzlich) haben wir die Umgebung genossen, war toll. Auch sonst war alles sehr schön und bestens. Die morgendliche Anfahrt ins "Big-5-Gebiet" dauert etwas und man muss sich warm anziehen, lohnt sich aber auf jeden Fall.

Sehr exklusiv und persönlich

Sehr exklusiv, da es nur wenige Zelte gibt. Sehr persönlicher Empfang, schöne Safaris im offenen Jeep mit guten Guides. Direkt am Fluss gelegen, wir konnten vom Pool ein Krokodil beobachten. Trotzdem sehr sicher. Liegt in einem eigenen privaten und abgesicherten Reservat.

O local é bem agradável e os funcionários são bastante receptivos. Mas tenha cuidado ao reservar, pois tinha sido informado que os safáris estavam inclusos e tive uma surpresa bem desagradável e cara na hora do check-out. Ao reservar a melhor suíte com a opção half meal, deveria ter deduzido que a opção half meal não excluía apenas o almoço, mas também os safáris. Sugiro ao Rukiya e ao hotel.com detalharem isso melhor pra evitar estresse e frustrações. Talvez colocando HALF MEAL (NO ACTIVITIES)

Upmarket pricing with mediocre accommodation The safari is limited in big 5 animals but we saw rabbit cat & warthog which was goof viewing. The attendance at mealtime as was the food mediocre but pricing high, Not a place to return for me.tip envelopes added to final billing which is ott imho

Place is like an oasis. About 10min along the main sealed highway you turn off onto dirt road over the train tracks and into Wild Rivers Reserve which has wild animals including predators. Because of this, once you arrive at the property by car you cannot walk anywhere except from room to room/lodge and in daytime on the grass in front of the river which is full of crocodiles and sometimes hippos. All this can be an unreal experience knowing that lions or leopards may enter the camp site at anytime. I still felt ver safe, you just can’t get any exercise is a problem if you stay here. Still amazing to sit by the river and watch a 3-4m crocodile hang about.
