Great Experience
We stayed ovenight in Wadi Rum. We had a great time watching the sunset over the desert and eating traditional food cooked in a camp fire. There happened to be a camel race the next morning and was one of the highlights of our Jordan trip. I lost my wallet in the desert and Mohammad found it and got it to me at my hotel in Aqaba the same morning. Amazing!

Great Bedouin camp in Wadi Rum
Great Bedouin camp in a good location. We got picked up from the Wadi Rum visitor center. This is a camp so amenities are very limited with shared bathrooms. Dinner was cooked Bedouin style and was delicious. The people that run the camp were friendly and when asked gave a wealth of information on the history and surroundings. Breakfast was traditional - I missed real coffee, instant coffee was served. The setting is marvelous, we stayed two nights and did some great hikes by ourselves. We asked for a ride back to Aqaba through the back country and they accommodated our request for a somewhat steep price of 60 Jordanian Dinars ($85.00) The only downside was that while we where there several big families with lot's of children were there also. Which made the whole experience very noisy. It's a great place to experience Wadi Rum!
