The stay was marred by a large group partying and making extreme noise at various times during the night, and in the hallway. The hotel location was easy to find. Near the Mississippi river, perfect for morning or afternoon walk. The reception was spot clean, spacious and well maintained. This was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The remodeled 1934 art-deco former post office and custom house is beautifully appointed, in keeping the style. The 13 foot windows are gorgeous. The rooms also beautiful and incredibly clean. I wish every hotel I stayed at was as nice as this. And it's relatively inexpensive!

Check-in was quick and easy. The desk staff were very nice and helpful. The property is awesome (in the old post office/customs house). The room was very spacious. We travelled with a dog. The hotel is dog friendly, but know that green space is a few blocks away in different directions. If your dog is jumpy around cars, keep that in mind.
