Nice hotel, for me the location was great. Clean room, dark and quiet at night. Restaurant was nice, had a good dinner. My dog found it very nice, he had easy outdoor access from our room. All in all, great for the price.

We enjoyed very clean room with fridge, appreciated separate WC and shower rooms as part of room. Very helpful reception and manageress and well-run hotel. We had two very good dinners, and breakfast was generous. Hotel very handy for drives to Villandry, Chinon, Islette, Ussé chateaux and 15 minutes' walk to Azay Le Rideau. Nice riverside spots for picnics at Brehemont and Savonnières near too. Hotel near to main road roundabout but no great disturbance and nearby supermarket and shops are convenient. We stayed 6 days and missed a comfortable chair in room but there are seats by reception bar and on terrace. Excellent stay, thank you.

The staff were extremely friendly. The food in the restaurant was great and reasonably priced. The hotel was easy to find and located right next to a roundabout that let you go anywhere in the region. There were shops across the highway (accessible by car 2 minutes). Great place to stay if exploring the region’s Chteaux.

Very good choice if you want a good restaurant

Welcomed by Natalia and her parrot when we arrived. Lovely old hotel with easy parking right outside, and a stones throw from the town itself. Our room was well presented, quiet and very comfortable with a good sized ensuite. We booked a table at the restaurant for that evening and glad we did as it was pretty full. Loved our 2 night stay and would definitely recommend it.

Excellent!

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left we were looked after very well by Phillipe, Natasha and the staff. Our room was very comfortable, the bathroom was a good size and the shower was very good. However, for us the highest marks should go to to the food. The breakfast had an excellent European choice. The dinners were superb. The menu was changed everyday and there was a limited but good choice of dishes. Every dish was beautifully presented and delicious. The fish and desserts were particularly good. It was a very good price for the quality. We intended to eat there just twice but only ate out at a small restaurant in the village was once. Philippe was very helpful in giving us suggestions for visits. We would definitely stay there again when we next visit France.

Quelle déception ! Quand j ai réservé les photos m ont fait rêvé… ainsi que les commentaires. Déjà à l arrivée le personnel n était pas très sympathique et accueillant, très froid, nous avions l impression de les déranger, la chambre n était pas prête ce que nous comprenons, nous avions vraiment le sentiment de déranger. La chambre est très vieillissante, un sèche cheveux qui s arrête toutes les 45 s car très ancien et sur chauffe. Il manque un tiroir au meuble de la salle de main ,les abats-jours plus que vieillissant , une mauvaise odeur dans la chambre , et quand nous avons signalé ces problèmes on nous a répondu que l hôtel etait en rénovation… chose a signaler en amont c est un minimum pour une chambre à 150€ la nuit . L hôtel est dans une zone commerciale bien avant l entrée du village qui pour ce rendre au château nécessite une voiture , car a pied pas très agréable… Bref vraiment très déçu par le comportement pas très professionnel du personnel et tout le reste.
