A beautiful hotel in a lovely setting. Although we had booked a garden room, we were given a classic room although this was corrected when we told them. As advertised, we expected only Continental breakfast but on the first day this comprised only cereals, fruit and basic toast. Although we were not late, no croissants were left. However, breakfast improved dramatically as the week went by with crusty bread, plenty of croissants, fruit and even poached egg. Our room was lovely, and the staff were generally very friendly. What a delight to have a piano that one could play!
