I ended up having to cut my visit short due to work changes, this upset me as I really enjoy the place, the food and the staff.

High quality rooms with excellent pub/ restaurant
We really enjoyed our stay last week. The rooms are large and recently completed to a high standard. Very comfortable super king bed and well quipped bathroom with large shower and separate bath. We also had dinner on both nights in the restaurant and the food and service was excellent. We would happily return when next in the area. Although not train spotters (!) we enjoyed the steam trains which run close by.

Amazing place very comfortable and clean. Well looked after Just needed a chair I could use to work on my laptop at the desk but then again I didn't ask !
