I cannot rate this Riad highly enough. Do take advantage of the transfer as finding it through the maze of alleys would not be easy alone. The place is beautifully restored, comfortable and has a fabulous roof terrace. Breakfast is substantial and kept us full til mid afternoon. The thing that differentiates this riad from all the others are the people. Younes really does look after you, from taking you on your first walk to the square so you dont get lost, getting a sim card,Showing where the atms are and all sorts of other hints and tips,he even made me a spiced drink to help my chesty cough. We also spent many hours chatting to the lovely owner about life marrakech and restoring the Riad. If and when we return we can only ever come here.
Great host and a very nice and clean place. Younes has been very helpful throughout our stay. The Riad is very close to many tourist attractions, which was very useful. The Maraike, the owner, is also a lovely lady. Good atmosphere overall and nothing negative to point out.
Exceptional. Thank you Younes, Marieke and Latifa for an amazing Moroccan hospitality. From the start to our departure back home. Clean and beautifully decorated spacious room, value for money for within our price bracket, perfect location to start exploring the city but creme de la creme is definitely the hospitality. Younes and the team, you have outperform yourselves by showing us your gracious, honest and the best service that we as a guest would want from our holiday. Syukran and wishing all the best for all of you. Mohd Helme bin Jaafar and Simon Denoth
Quiet, intimate and tasteful. Staff went out of their way to help us navigate the town and make different arrangements. Hospitable and caring and gave us many sound recommendations . We highly recommend DarChadia.
After reading the reviews my wife and I simply had to go there , especially for our anniversary, and it did not disappoint. Younes, assisted by Latifa, was simply brilliant, nothing was ever any bother, arranging a surprise in alliance with our kids in England on the day of our anniversary. we could go on and on and on, but would like to cherish some of the experience. we also met an American couple, Loraine and Garry, what a blast. DAR CHADIA. If you get the chance go there. Younes and Latifa,, thank you so very much. Stella and Stephen Holder
Great value. Dar Chadia was perfect for our needs, ideally located within the Medina but like stepping into a quiet oasis of calm. Our stay was made even better by our host, Younes, who went above and beyond to make us welcome, gave us a personal tour of the area, helped with organising tours, transfers and other practicalities, such as purchase of SIM cards. Add to this a very clean and comfortable room with wonderful breakfast and you have all the ingredients of a perfect stay. Highly recommended!
I cannot recommend Dar Chadia enough, from start to finish it was an absolute pleasure to stay here. Younes is the nicest host I have ever come across, he could not do enough for us. His communication before we even arrived was excellent, arranging airport pickup and late checkout. Upon Arrival Younes took us for a walk to the Medina to show us around giving us great tips on where to eat and drink and how to stay safe. The Riad itself was beautiful, extremely comfortable and exceptionally clean. Breakfast was a delight every morning and kept us fueled up for the day ahead. I could go on but instead will just recommend you see for yourself.
A really lovely gem hidden in the old streets of Marrakech. Younes the manager goes above and beyond his responsibilities to make you welcomed and safe in the city. Latifa the caretaker is very friendly and smiley and makes a tasty breakfast. The decor is gorgeous and everything in the dar is well thought out, highly recommend.
My two daughters and I have just returned from a wonderful stay in Marrakesh where we were hosted by Younes and Latifa at Dar Chadia. From the moment we were met on arrival and escorted from our taxi to the house - it is hard to find - Younes could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable. The rooms are clean, the Riad beautiful with a roof terrace with great views and breakfast is way more than one would except from a ‘continental’ offer. The hotel is in a quiet part of the medina and felt safe. It is central and easy to walk to most of the sites once you get your bearings. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.
My daughter and I spent a couple of nights at the riad in October. I was slightly nervous about taking her to Marrakech without my husband but as soon as we met Younes I relaxed. He was so helpful and gave us a tour of the square - even though we arrived there after 23;00 - and made sure we could find our way back to the riad. Nothing was too much trouble. All of his recommendations and advice were excellent. The riad itself is stunning, calm, relaxing, cool and peaceful. Highly recommended.
