Artistic B and B
Interesting, artistic 19th century home filled with paintings, books and antique furniture. Pat was friendly, breakfast very nice. Room had a shared bathroom - our only complaint was that the bathroom was in need of cleaning.

Chez Pat in Cambridge
Nice Cambridge location in interesting home. Challenging if traveling with a car as parking is on the street and requires a permit. The owner only had one permit that was being used by another guest. Not an issue if you don’t have a car, but recommend you call ahead to request the permit if you need one. Basic European style breakfast served in a lovely dining room.

Absolutely awful
Awful. I can’t believe that I actually paid money for this. When my son and I arrived, Pat met us at the door and said “Welcome to my home.” The room was sparse, there wasn’t even a TV, the bed was so small that my 7 yo and I barely fit. The floors creaked and the walls were thin. I felt like we were waking everyone up every time we moved. No glasses for water. There were three people vying for the bathroom. I had to keep watching so we could jump in to brush our teeth. In the bathroom were stacks of slivers of bars of soap. I picked up the top one to hand to my son to bathe and there was a pubic hair on it. She asked us if we would be staying for breakfast, I told her we needed to leave at around seven or 730 and she said that 730 was the absolute earliest she could do breakfast, so we missed out on that too completely. I couldn’t even get coffee in the morning. This was overall a really awful experience, especially traveling with a child.

We’d stay again
The house is functional, but do not expect a 5-Star accommodation. If you are visiting the area and need a centrally-located place to sleep and shower with great pricing, this is the place. If you are looking for something more, you may want to look elsewhere.

Nice night in Cambridge
It was very nice and Pat was very accommodating. I went to a concert in Boston and it was a convenient distance for a very reasonable price.
