2-Days in Port Hood
The town is very small (only 1 restaurant) but we had a very nice time. The cottages all look the same and have been renovated recently. They are in great condition. Ours had 2-bedrooms (1-Queen & 1-Full) there is a living room / Dining area and a small kitchen. All appliances were clean & looked new. Its a short walk to the beach.

Peaceful cottage with lovely sea views
Stayed in Sept. 2018. Easy to find. Great location. Easy 3 hour drive from Halifax airport. The check in lady was fantastic with typical east coast hospitality. Very friendly and helpful. Very nice relaxing sunset views from the porch. The 2 bedroom cottage is basic, clean and comfortable. Surprisingly there was bugs in Sept. however all the windows have screens. The addition of AC would be beneficial as it was a hot and muggy day. There is heating in the unit. Plenty of hot water. The WiFi could use some improvement but thankful it was there. Not fast enough to send photos. Excellent location to drive the Cabot Trail which in my opinion was better to do clockwise so staying here was ideal. Hope to return next time in Oct. when the trees are changing colours and the weather is cooler.
