Good
Only 1 staff in check-in so had to wait some time. 1 of only 2 lifts broken which resulted in always having to wait around for it to eventually arrive. Room was very small with the bed overlooking the bathroom with only a glass devide. Not good for anyone who doesn't want to be watched whilst on the loo. Fixtures and fittings generally good although the loo roll holder and towel holder both loose and wobbled. Tap was so low it was not possible to fit two hands under it for hand washing. On the up side, great location, a comfy bed and great aircon on the hottest day of the year. Unlikely to stay again due to the room/hotel itself not matching upto its price and in many respects being not as good as lower priced options such as hilton/raddison offerings

I love London and go back every few years. I always stay in the Leicester Square area, because I can walk to almost everything from there. This was my first time at Hotel Indigo, but it won't be the last! In central London you have to expect the rooms to be small, but even so this hotel really paid attention to the details rather than sacrificing amenities for space. I stayed in a standard double room, which was very well planned out: • Slippers, robe, and huge, great towels • Tons of places to plug in, with with converter or USB • Full-length mirror by the door • A safe and a small fridge, perfect for the M&S sandwiches I stacked it with • A kettle + selection of hot drinks including teas, hot chocolate and coffee/decaf • My favourite surprise, a teeny bottle of actual milk in the fridge for tea/coffee! Love it! • Constantly refreshed still & sparkling bottled water, + surprise orange & apple juice in the fridge one day • GREAT wifi - could even watch Netflix • Hairdryer in room • Fantastic pillows, not too soft or hard. Bed also comfortable. • Fogless mirror in bathroom • SPECTACULAR views from the terrace. This alone is reason enough to stay • Very friendly staff And minor negatives: • No where to sit other than bed. There's space under the desk for a stool which would help • No room in the bathroom for my own toiletries, had to use desk • Faucet on sink is WAY too low, can't wash your hands properly • Loudest maids ever :( Were they dropping boulders in the halls??

If you’re from the US it’s going to be a challenge. First off, the standard queen rooms are smaller than your closet. You have a 12 inch pathway around the bed the moment you open the door. Dressers ? They don’t exist so get ready to live out of your suitcase. My room was wheelchair accessible so it was bigger than the standard, but had no counter top in the bathroom !! My toothpaste went on the floor and my soaps went on there as well. The LSQ rooftop is one of the only decent things about the place. The elevator takes a full 10 minutes from floor 9 to floor 0 and you feel like it takes an hour. You have to double press the floor number or else you will miss the floor on your way up. I paid $2,000 for a week there and boy did I get shafted. No lube.

Very good
Nice hotel with some caveats. Room was small, even after an upgrade, but I guess that's London. Though the view from the upstairs restaurant is indeed stunning, the food there is average at best, and the morning breakfast shockingly expensive! Here's the good: VERY centrally located. Perfect to get to or just walk anywhere. Room is nicely decorated and cozy. I loved that cookies and decaf coffees and teas were provided every day. Very friendly staff. Extremely comfortable bed. One of the best beds I've slept in, in a hotel. Loads of places to eat nearby. Don't miss upstairs tea at the TWG tea shop across the way...something like 300 different teas. Stunning! Near every conceivable theater experience. We saw the musical Everybody's Talking About Jamie in the gorgeous old theater and enjoyed it immensely. Hotel was pleasant and nicely decorated. Nice comfortable room controls, which was great, because i got nice heat in winter. Shower is instantly hot. Bathroom is modern and attractive. Here's the negative: Pricey for what you get in terms of the room, I think, but everyone says that's London. Hotel is right in the heart of Leicester square, which I didn't know meant considerable noise at night until 10pm weekdays and midnight or so weekends. Many UK movie premieres happen right below our window (which can be kind of exciting but kinda bad if it's your first day in!) IMO the onsite restaurant is just not good. Elevators can be a tedious wait.

Great location, modern and comfortable!
We were here for a 7 night stay and had a very positive experience in this hotel - we would stay here again. It is very centrally located in Leicester Square - right in the heart of the action, close to 2 tube stops, restaurants, and everything you'd need. Lovely decor, modern and updated, and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent - two things that can make or break a hotel room for us. The only downside for us was that because the room was quite small (not unusual in London hotels) there was very little storage space for clothing (an open rack instead of a closet and/or dresser drawers); because of the length of our stay, this was awkward but didn't detract from our overall experience in the hotel. On arrival, we were initially concerned that due to the hotel's location right in Leicester Square that it would be noisy, but our 8th floor room was surprisingly quiet and we had no discernible noise from outside. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the view from the roof top bar was spectacular! The elevators were a little slow, and one was out of service for our last 3 days there, but that happens sometimes; at least there were elevators! :-) Overall, a very positive stay - lovely location, great value, very comfortable and friendly. Would highly recommend!
