lovely staff, gorgeous beaches - exceptional even for The Maldives

We took a family holiday, returning to UK 3 days ago. Staff were superb, all inclusive options were great & superior beach villa was clean, spacious & located steps from the sea. Hotel organise transfers for you & you pay them upon arrival. This holiday was great value for money. The dive centre was superb & special thanks to Sammy who went out of his way to ensure we made the most of every dive. Whale sharks, mantas, dolphins, turtles, nurse sharks etc etc all seen!

We stayed at Dive and Sleep for the first half (5 nights) of our honeymoon in the Maldives and it was more than we could have hoped for. Our speedboat transfer was booked for us and we were collected from the harbour. Dhidhdhoo (pronounced di-do) is a small local island and Dive and Sleep is one of only a few hotels. Modern and beautiful, close to the bikini beach. Pick up from the harbour by car. Special thanks to the staff from the restaurant (kuku, mojid, rayuela) there is nothing they could do better. Highly highly recommend the hotel and also the restaurant.

Stayed here for 5 nights, we were welcomed by the manager and other staff on arrival - they helped us with everything from arranging speedboat transfers for arriving and leaving the island to booking excursions. The hotel and rooms were nice and modern and had everything we needed, the buffet breakfast was nice and had different choices each day. The location was perfect, a 5 min walk to a beautiful quiet bikini beach, we also had transport to take us to the sandbank at the bottom of the island....

The lagoon is amazing and great for swimming and Snorkelling. The property is very clean and well looked after. Excellent at catering for people with allergies. Good choice of drinks in all inclusive package..

Amazing staff, beautiful coral reef

We had a great stay at Oasis, and loved Dhigurah! The hotel is small and calm, with a beautiful garden and simple but spotless rooms with excellent air conditioning. Plenty of selection for breakfast, and a nice restaurant for lunch and dinner too. It's really well located, you can walk to the beach on either side of the island in no time at all (couple of great beach bars very close) and they have free bicycles to use to head further down the island to the bikini beach and sand bank. Our stay at Azul Retreat was wonderful. Mohamed and team were great at making sure everything was ok. We stayed in a sea view room with stunning views. Highly recommended. The hotel is in the quiet part of the island which was great. Although the balcony faces the street you still feel secluded like having your own piece of paradise. DON'T listen to any of the bad reviews. They will all be pompous picks who are used to getting their bum wiped for them. The place is amazing! Staff go out their way to make it the best time of your life. The food is great! I'm gluten free and the Mrs is a veggie and every meal time the chef would come out and show us around all the dishes pointing out what we can or can't eat and offering to cook something special if we wanted. Outstanding all inclusive with great food and included wine list. Amazing friendly service from all the staff and a wonderful house reef to snorkle on to your hearts content. We stayed in both a lagoon villa and an over water villa during our week and really enjoyed both experiences. The fish feeding with plenty of rays and sharks a real highlight. The adults only area with a la carte lunch, infinity pool and cocktails to order was a favourite.
