Superb. 5 stars all the way.
This has to be one of the best places to stay at in Scotland. We arrived to a great welcome and despite the bad weather (it was raining) we could not of been looked after better. Huge and clean room and bathroom, beautiful views, great breakfast. The hotel is also pet friendly and unlike other hotels pets are very welcome and free to stay. The owner is very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. he place is immaculate and beautifully interior designed. It also ideal for those wanting to be close to Glasgow but also on a hiking trail that encompasses some of the best scenery that Scotland has to offer.

A quirky, interesting place to stay. Drew was very charming and helpful as were the rest of the staff. Showers were very good. Food very good too. Would recommend a stay here.

Never been treated like this - Narrow minded man
Received a call in the morning saying our accommodation had been cancelled due to a landslide making it impossible for cars to get there. Said we were hiking so it wasn't a problem. Didn't notice any indication of a landslide anywhere! When we arrived our "Luxury Safari Tent with Electricity, Heating and Hot Tub" - "161-sq-foot (15-sq-meter) individually decorated room, furnished patio with mountain views" turned out to be … 2m x 2m (± 4m²), not the promised 3m x 5m (± 15m²) with 2 (uncomfortable!) beds squashed in next to each other (owner blamed "American" measurements!) The "electricity" was a caravan electrical plug behind the tent and you had to bring your own cable (not likely when we were hiking) Asked how it was "heated" (not that we needed it), the owner said he would supply a heater but it's no use without electricity The hot tub was in another small tent for use by everybody The "furnished patio" was the patio on the house, not part of the "Luxury Safari Tent" When anything was raised with the owner he simply said "I wish you well" and tried pushing his hand into mine to shake on it, i.e., off you go, however we had just walked 7 hours to get there and had no intention of leaving with nowhere to go. He later came down and spoke to my partner saying we could stay there "as his guest" and he would refund our money as he didn't want "Narrow minded men" in his house, i.e., me! Still waiting for the refund!
