Weekend night, can be noisy
I reserved a room though the app and as a solo traveler picked the cheapest room , which was a bunk-bed room. On arrival I did ask if as a solo traveler I could be moved to a room with double bed and was told rooms were available, but there’d be a price increase so I let it pass. Rooms are small (but that may be part of the “pod” concept. There was no shortage of power sockets which was great. The bathroom is a shower/toilet combination (so when you shower, toilet seat will get wet - which may be an issue for some). The mattress was very comfortable and should have allowed for a good night sleep - if it weren’t for noise levels, this was the main issue, very loud music from the restaurant/bar lasting (at least, this is when I stopped checking my watch) until 01:00am. Having arrived that day on a flight from Europe, I eventually fell asleep from fatigue. Perhaps it is not so bad on a weekday. On checkout, front desk did not ask “has everything been ok?” Which I find somewhat disappointing . I will add that having left a short feedback online about the noise, a manager from the hotel later on did follow up on it and said I could have tried to ask and move rooms (not sure if charges would have been expected), so my advice at check-in would be to ask if quiet rooms are available

Small but perfectly formed
Super cute, small but perfectly formed room with all the essentials for a trip to New York. Clean, comfortable and well-designed go maximise space. Good value for money.

Small but comfy
The rooms are a decent size considering they are meant to be smaller due to the type of hotel this is and the rooms have everything you need including soap, shampoo and conditioner. There were plenty of plugs so no issues charging everything. The main issue with this hotel was the hallways were so hot that it was uncomfortable just walking along them. Staff were super friendly and helpful and it was easy to find from the ferry and not far from the subway. Loads of places to eat and drink around, we stayed here because it wasn't far from the Brooklyn Bowl and that was a 15 minute walk. I would definitely recommend this location and all Pods as they are great for the price and comfortable. Only thing is if you have loads of luggage they might not be good for you, we had one big bag and it was difficult to find a spot for it but we managed.
