Good 6.0
Convenient and polite but slept poorly
Cramped accommodation even for a dorm - struggled to compete for floor space for my luggage and opening my suitcase in the room was a nightmare. This was made even more difficult by having a top bunk bed and not being able to layout my suitcase on the bed.. ended up dragging my suitcase into the hall outside our room though this was also problematic due to people trying to exit a neighbouring room. I would have been better off in a capsule hotel.

Very good 8.0
great location but tiny room
Very well located, 5 minute walk to the train station and only 10-15 mins from Akihabara and plenty of nice eatting spots nearby. The room was very clean and the staff were great, helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good and the social area was great! The room was very very tiny though, even by Tokyo standards, just 2 single futons on the floor and about half a meter of floor space between the futon and the wall. The pillow was incredibly uncomfortable, i have never had a pillow experience like that before and never thought it would even be something I would complain about. Also one lift for the whole place meant a lot of waiting. But overall a good stay mainly because we didn't spend that much time in the room as were out exploring Tokyo.

Great location, welcoming staff, nice atmosphere
TL;DR I would definitely stay here again :) I really loved the location, bar/cafe, and overall atmosphere of the hostel. The staff were also very kind and talkative which was welcoming. My only note is that the dormitory beds are not the most comfortable, but then again it is a hostel after all.

Family vacation in Tokyo
Staff was excellent. They were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the same everyday, some variation would be nice if possible. Games provided downstairs were fun to play with. Location was roughly 5-7 minute walk from subway and 3 min. walk to JR line. 7-11 and Family Mart were close by. Place was quiet and away from crowds and traffic.

Poor 2.0
Will not stay here again - Poor Service
I booked this hotel/hostel because I thought it was close to a train station. It is still close to a station however, the overall location of the hostel is very far from the main attractions in Tokyo. You still have to take about 30-40 mins train ride on way to get to different sites and unlike other countries, since train rides are very expensive in Japan, this becomes a huge inconvenience. Also, very poor service which is totally unexpected because overall service in Japan is great. People tend to be very helpful in general. But the staff at this hostel was rude and unhelpful even for basic questions. Very small common area and no kettle to make coffee/tea. They expect you to pay $4-5 for coffee/tea in the morning from the hotel cafe. I will not stay here again. NO.

Home a way from Home
Perfect place to call home away from home. The people who work here are super friendly and the little cafe downstairs has a great breakfast selection. You find a train station either direction within less than 10 minutes.
