This was probably our favorite hotel. The breakfast was excellent and the pub was great. Staff is as also very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

An historic gem in a medieval town center.
This is an older building that is above a pub but was a lovely stay. The breakfasts were among the very best we were served in Great Britain. The location near York Minster can't be beat. I would definitely stay here again, and York is so fantastic that we are very likely to do that. The only downside would be for mobility impaired guests because you have to navigate tight stairs. But we loved this stay!
