Xmas market break
Very good location, bang on the square. Only had breakfast one day. Felt that breakfast was expensive and there are plenty of places around the area which were cheaper and better for breakfast. There is no hotel bar, but not an issue as again plenty around the area.

Perfect place to stay in Krakow.
I had a fantastic trip to Krakow , the hotel is in an excellent location and my room had a wonderful view of the square . The staff were really friendly and ensured that I had everything I needed for my stay. The room was spacious and comfortable and cleaned daily. Thank you to the Imperial Hotel for making my trip so memorable.

Mixed Feelings For This Hotel
I have mixed feelings about my stay at the Imperial Hotel so I'll list both the positive and negative! Firstly, I booked a room with a view of the main square but when I arrived it was an internal room which was very dark, facing internal rooms so barely any natural light. I did ask the reception and they said they could upgrade me to the room view I would like for 100 zloty (only about £20), as it was staying here as a treat for one night I paid the extra. Once in this room it was clean and with an amazing view of the square. While it's a great bonus in terms of location - you couldn't ask for better in Krakow for exploring - I will also add that the noise late at night can be annoying. I am quite noise sensitive and do tend to tune into loud music if it's playing while I try to sleep and I could hear the base from nearby clubs until the early hours of the morning, even with ear plugs. On check out I asked if they could store my bag for a couple of hours which they did. However, the security left a little to be desired as they just left them out in the open in the main reception rather than lock them away. While the reception is staffed I'm not sure how comfortable I felt with this as when I collected it no one checked what I was picking up etc. I don't want to be too negative ... if you sleep well then this will be a great base for exploring one of my favourite cities! And the room was clean and comfortable!

Beautiful Hotel right on Main Square.
Lovely hotel, beautiful room with tea coffee facilitates, toiletries, slippers, robes ....... Did not have breakfast so cannot comment on buffet. Would have been nice to have a little bar for evening drinks, however loads of lovely bars in Krakow.

Well located non-chain hotel
Travelled with a friend to Krakow as a base for visiting Auschwitz. Nice to stay in a non corporate hotel for once. I had a single room but it still had what in the UK is a double bed, although with a duvet that wasn't as big as the bed (to stop couples booking a single?). Hotel was well presented, but room was modern with a decent flat screen TV. Bathroom was well appointed although the toiletries were meagre (if you're bothered). Breakfast was buffet and varied including eggs made to order, and lots of choice from cereals to cold meats. My room overlooked a side street but from the plan it looked like a couple of rooms per floor overlooked the (fabulous) square. Staff were friendly and all spoke good English. We asked for a late 2PM checkout and this was given for one room which was useful. Lots to eat and drink on the square. Easy to walk to most places, and we also used Uber to nip to places and to and from the airport. A good 2 night stay with no issues, and a thought provoking visit to Auschwitz and Auschwitz-Birkenau.

Super Krakow
Wonderful location. Right on the Old Town Square. Super room with comfortable bed, although a little hot. Super restaurants on the square with fine dining. Auschwitz and Salt Mines well worth a visit and Castle, Jewish quarter and getto within easy walking distance

Friendly and accommodating
Wonderful hotel with friendly and very helpful staff in the best location on the main square. Room was spacious and had all amenities we could wish for. The only down side, it was a warm October weekend and the room had no air conditioning. We were not in the room for long periods of time except to sleep, so didn't cause too much of an issue.
