Pooley Bridge is a very small village nestled at the top of Ulswater. It has 3 public house & a couple of small shops. The crown Inn is perfectly placed by the river & in the thick of the village. The only downside is parking a busy sunny days! Staff at the Inn were very pleasant & helpful

We loved our stay here! The rooms were gorgeous, clean, nice tea and coffee and fresh milk. The most comfortable bed ever! We had a lovely meal and a drink on the terrace looking out over the river, it was bliss! Staff were helpful and friendly, breakfast was awesome, we had a great time, we'll definitely be back!
