The room was nice, clean, and cozy. It was near the train station and was conveniently surrounded by small pubs/restaurants and a family mart. The check-in process was a bit strange, however, as I was first greeted by 2 odd looking robots, and after fully paying everything online up front (including Taxes & Fees), they required a 300 yen extra charge for me to pay for a "Tokyo Tax." Of course 300 yen is a small matter, but I would have rather they included that in the room fee since I've already paid for Taxes & Fees through Hotel.com (the last thing I'd want to be bothered about after a long immigration/journey is this). The room may be a bit snug for 2, but it was comfortable enough for 1. They also included a nice LG Steam Styler in each room. I was a bit disappointed at the end when, upon check-out, I asked the staff if I could leave my luggage for 24 hours, as I would return the next day from Osaka and re-check in to a new room at the same hotel again. However, to my disappointment, they said I could only leave the luggage if I am intending to pick it up the same day. Anyways, because of this, I decided I will return to Tokyo and find myself staying at another hotel. For the price and convenience, there are many other hotels in the area. All in all, it was still a good experience staying here, and I guess for the star rating, I can't complain much and can't expect much. If the price goes any higher (over $100 usd/night) though, I would definitely reconsider.
