Great stay at the lotus hotel
Great place to stay, small and friendly, all the members of staff were very informative and helpful. Breakfast was a great selection and although there are no drink making facilities within the rooms there are hot drinks available in the breakfast room any time along with cakes, great after a long day, location wise once you have your bearings it's in a good place,we would definitely stay here again . Thanks for making our first stay a memorable one.

Great Little Hotel
Very good service; the owners are welcoming and the hotel is warm and friendly. It is situated further away from the main areas but as long as you are happy to walk 20 minutes then you'll be fine.

Lovely hotel, great staff, fab b/fast, recommend
Hotel Lotus was great, the reception staff friendly and helpful, Maria is excellent. The rooms are small but had a comfy bed, en-suite, area to hang clothes and a tv. Wi-fi in the room/public area's. The complimentary shower gel and hand soap were nice. Being able to adjust the room's heating is good. The towel was changed daily (not really necessary). Information on how to get to places, what to see and trips is available on reception and Maria was very helpful as well. The cold breakfast buffet was lovely - toast, pate, jams, hard boiled eggs, sliced ham/salami/cheeses, fresh fruit, cereal, Skyr, cakes, several pickled items, tea/coffee, fresh juice. There is coffee/tea available all day along with any cake not eaten at breakfast (when you get back at 1 am from a trip it would have been nice to have a hot drink - there was no milk out) The location is good for catching the bus to town and back although i walked it most times. There is a supermarket across the road.

Pleasant stay.
This is a loverly family run establishment, clear and tidy in appearance and our hosts always had a welcoming smile and friendly manner they facilitated our every need. And is ideally located for most eventuallities, (Major Shopping centre 800m) (evening meals, chinese, steakhouse, tacho bar, & vietmense 800m) and is situated behind the Hilton, as a point of refrence if you want to walk into Reykjavic. I would stay here again.
