Freezing cold in January
That car park was quite poorly lit and the room was in an annexe away from the hotel up a steep set of iron stairs. The heating in the room didn’t work whilst I was there and the temperature in the rim was 10c . The Caspian room which I stayed in was very small considering it cost £144 … the bathroom was freezing cold … glad Ti Leave.

Picture Perfect
We stayed overnight the day after our wedding in the Troya room. Taken aback by the decor especially the bathroom which is just stunning! Classical music playing as we entered the room was a lovely touch. We then had a leisurely afternoon tea the following day which was a lovely way to extend the experience a little longer. The grounds are so beautiful, already looking for an excuse to return. Yes it is expensive but we found it good value when compared with comparable venues.

Secret getaway at Berwick Lodge
The minute we turned the corner and saw this beautiful building we knew our stay would be amazing .The twin room we booked was delightful we had an amazing view and the small balcony helped us enjoy it all the more. After a long journey we went on a lovely walk within the grounds of this delightful hotel . We would most definitely stay again my friend and I have known each other for over 50/ Years and where celebrating our 60 th birthdays next time we will bring our other half’s Strongly recommend this beautiful hotel.
