Amazing location
Really lovely stay, beautiful view and nice and quiet which was good as I was staying for work. Only negative was the room service menu, it wasn’t very varied and wasn’t actually that nice unfortunately! Everything else was great though!

Good family hotel friendly staff stunning location
I would describe The Cliff as a decent family hotel with friendly service and a stunning view. On the plus side my Executive Room was spacious with a good desk for working, and the bed was comfortable. I don't know when the refurbishment was done but it looked like a few years ago as there were some scuffs and marks on furniture etc. but not to an unacceptable level. The bathroom was OK although showing its age a bit and there were a few stray hairs lying around the sink so the standard of housekeeping was not 100% I have marked "cleanliness" down a bit accordingly. Service in the bar and restaurant was welcoming and friendly with a warm "can do" attitude - we arrived late for lunch but the staff accomodated us happily. We were also very late arrivals in the bar at close to midnight but the staff waited for us without complaint or making us feel rushed. For me as a Welsh speaker it was nice to hear staff and guests speaking Welsh. Check in was a bit slow and could have been a bit more reassuring (it took so long to find the reservation that I began to wonder if the reservation had been lost) spo I think the staff need better training. I asked to be checked in using the Welsh language but the person at the desk was not a Welsh speaker which was a shame. More Welsh speaking staff would be good. The wifi was free but a bit slow. So overall not bad but room for improvement. I would stay again if I was in the area.

Bad customer service
Hi I truly leeve this feedback in full honesty this hotel is very good superb facilities too but staff leave a lot to be disired we found two screws in the spa in jachoozi one impaled in my foot reported it to reception no real action taken not to spoil our valued break we carried on putting this serius matter to bed but later we booked into the restaurant sat in bar chatting and we was a tad late for our time slot but to our horror the restaurant manager started shouting at us loud he had no reason to deal with the situation in this manner one he wasant totally booked up and two we would of wated a while but he ranted raved and shouted like a mad man we was taken back and inseced matter was reported but that look on the reception member was that of moaners and groaners here again so all said super hotel great food ie breakfast as we didn't eat any meal for tea but same old tale STAFF crap !!!!!!!
