Exceptional 10.0
Perfect
The hotel is very unique with highly designed rooms that are in excellent conditions. The level of comfort is outstanding for this price range and the staff were enthusiastic and had a 'can-do' attitude that was very welcome. It is also well situated: not directly in the centre to have a bit of piece but just a 5-10min from all the sights.

Does boutique mean small?
Very expensive room, very small room and very poor value.

Needs a little tlc to bring it back to what the owners probably intended. Unlike modern hotels period furniture (real or faux) has more edges which are prone to catching and chipping with constant use. The windows were in tire need of a clean but I can appreciate why - they looked as though they might fall into the street if touched. I understand however that these are due to be replaced.

Loved it
The town house is really quirky and you can tell they’ve spent a lot of time paying attention to detail. Although in a central location our stay was still quiet and relaxing with friendly staff.

Highly recommended
Fabulous overnight stay in the Penthouse. It is just a pity they no longer serve evening meals but there are plenty of choices locally. Penthouse is beautiful but mind your head even with the padding on the ceiling beams! This is a lovely individual hotel which I would have no hesitation in recommending or returning to.
