San Jose Tombstone
We chose the hotel because of its history and we found the place to be near all attractions, satisfactory for comfort; parking can be a consideration since they only have 3 rooms and 3 places to parallel parti.

Old and cozy.
The room could have been cleaner. Floors dirty. Beds were clean. Very comfortable. I would stay there again. Walking distance to town.

Tombstone San Jose Quaint!
Very nice! Cute room with a double and a queen. Quite clean. We would stay again. Could use a few little improvements like more cups and glasses in the kitchenette, hotter water, better heating and a sturdier chair in the room. All in all, good place.

Avoid! Sleep in your car instead!
This place is an absolute dump. We arrived and the clerk was outside smoking and seems annoyed to have to talk to us. The keys are in a lock box on the door knob. The room was unheated, and only a tiny space heater was provided. We cranked it all the way up and it barely took the chill out of the air. The floors are uneven and the walls are bubbling from moisture leaks. The bathroom was the size of a phone booth. We had to sit sideways to use the toliet or just go with the door open, not that it shut completely anyway. The shower was disgusting. Hair and Lord knows what else in the cracks and crevices. If you're over 5'6" just don't plan on showering bc the the sprayer is so low. I will say soap and shampoo were provided. That was one positive. The living area was the okay with a loveseat, tv, and DVD player. Some western movies were provided. The kitchen area was nasty. The sink looked like an animal had been cleaned in it and never cleaned properly. It was stained brown and I was afraid to go near it. The bed was like sleeping on a piece of plywood. I got up several times in the night because my back hurt so bad I thought I was going to be paralyzed if I lingered. I'm young and in good shape just fyi. My husband was so cold we had to go to the car (and honestly considered staying there!) to get our emergency blanket. Both of us felt sick and exhausted when we left in the morning. Our bodies ached and we literally felt ill. Just avoid at all costs.

Adorable little place! It really captures the essence of Tombstone. Apparently the building was built in the 1800s. It’s like a little apartment.
