Clean, modern place and excellent location
The hotel was very good, clean, new, comfy bed, good facilities and very friendly and helpful staff. The location is excellent, there's a grocery store next door and the PATH station is right beneath the hotel. Newport Centre is close too. Breakfast is very basic and limited, but it's included in the room price at no extra cost therefore no bad marks. Next time I will stay here again, no ifs or buts.

Superb place to stay - hidden gem like
Hotel overall was very good as staff at main desk is very helpful and will assist you in any questions you ask about the area. Cleaning room staff was good as beds and towels replaced but not tea/coffee/sugar so had to ask reception but was sorted for the next 4 remaining days. Room was excellent with nice view from my room and heating working when it got chilly at night. Pillows was soft and did sleep very well and bath/shower facilities was good. Had fridge/microwave/utensils and all working great. Could have a kettle for boiling just water. Tv was working fine with remote . Breakfast was ok as had a little bit of everything to fill you for the morning/day but you can take it upstairs Location was fairly decent if you wish to travel by PATH (subway train) to NYC as it was literally 2 mins walk away from hotel, There was a starbucks/mcdonalds/krispy Kreme donuts place within 3-4 mins walking distance. 10 mins walk had a nice but slightly dated mall for shopping but has some decent shops in there like Macys amongst a few others and you pay less tax than NYC If we decided to come back to New York in the future then we would recommend coming back here again for few good reasons. Cheaper and away from noise/bright lights, only 20/30 mins to world trade centre area/33rd street . Decent rooftop bars near overlooking NYC skyline and to statue of liberty (by boat but a whole lot less people)

very clean and good for family
very clean rooms and comfy bed just a bit disappointed sofa bed was not made for my boys to sleep... even if i book for a family. we all slept on the king size bed.. didn’t bother to complain as we are just staying for a night and leaving early morning.

We really liked the all inclusive breakfast selection and quality. So good for a city Hotel. Location excellent. The room rates very confusing as they change on a daily basis. Best rates direct with Hotel. To many various taxes not shown when booking. Hotel heating system appaling . Rooms go cold in the night due to sensors in the room. System to noisy to leave whilst sleeping . Hotel staff admit the heating is terrible and unreliable. The major complaints of all guests is this situation .

Great Hotel
This is my 1st time staying at a Residence Inn. Would go again? Definite yes. The only thing is the breakfast, which is understandable due to COVID-19. It's not the wonderful buffet breakfast sold on the site as normal.
