The room was clean and the staff was very friendly. The bathroom was actually one of the nicest parts of the room. Unfortunately, the room itself was really small, the bed was noisy, and the comforter felt very old and had a noticeable musty smell. Parking also was not complimentary, which was disappointing. Overall, not my best stay, but the friendly staff and nice bathroom were definitely positives.

The overall atmosphere of the hotel is excellent with a nice open space in the lobby/bar area, games to play, drink tokens upon check-in that are good for something from the bar or other non-alcohol options, and within walking distance to a lot of shops. There is a paid parking lot right across the street that does not cost too much compared to others in the area. In general it was a really nice place. Unfortunately, the rooms themselves are very wet and heavy feeling even with the air conditioning running, the beds have no support at all with pillows that are terrible, and the toilets in the room are square shaped and almost too large so they are uncomfortable to sit on and my wife nearly fell in. The only thing holding this place back from being an excellent change of pace from most hotels are the rooms themselves. For the cost of the stay I would expect to be comfortable in the room.

Overall our stay was enjoyable enough. We didn't spend much time at the hotel as we had plans away, but the time we did spend there was good enough, with a few things needing improvement. The television in our room constantly shut off and on again (not sure if it was a signal problem, or electrical problem), the room was super small, and not quite what I expected. The check in staff didn't really help with letting us know amenities (I read on the flyer in the elevator about extra amenities you could ask for, IE asking for a coffee pot in your room, the gym downstairs, and the communal refrigerator in the lobby) the parking situation without us asking first, and overall wasn't very friendly. The staff we interacted with later in the evening and during checkout were great. Overall, our experience was fine.
