The staff was very helpful. We arrived very hot and overheated. We were allowed to check in early, and given water and towels so that we could get right into the pool which was very appreciated.
The pool was clean and lovely.
Though the room had a/c which was essential due to the heat it lacked many amenities. There was no refrigeration which made keeping food and cold beverages a significant challenge. We were given ice from the bar but told we would need to purchase additional ice. We had to request a bag for trash (only a very small can in the bathroom). There was also a problem with small ants.
It should be known that the walk to the waterfront is about 750 steps and not easy so an Uber or prior planning is advised. However, right up the street is a lovely patisserie, boulangerie and grocery and there is a nice view from the pool.
Overall we had a great trip and the staff was very responsive with our requests.
