New Road Hotel

Easy and convenient. Rather overpriced for what you get, but that’s East London. Would use again.

Room was a specialised room which i was allocated without prior consultation? Bed was excessively hard/firm! No light anywhere near mirror over hand basin?? No apparent internal telephone?? No bedside cabinet of any sort everything had to be put on a ledge above your head over the bed,not ideal. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful Room and public areas immaculately clean Breakfast first rate enjoyable stay despite a few niggles.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The staff at the restaurant in the evening Dennis and Akos were both exceptional and I would recommend to having an evening meal there. The only problem was the noise the windows were not double glazed and if so let a lot of cold in even though the electric blind was pulled down. It is a pity the owners did not think to install underfloor heating so if you book the hotel take your slippers with you! All in all the hotel was clean, the staff friendly, the breakfast options were very good and the evening F&B staff were great so would recommend this hotel.

Great location for what we needed rather than come all the way home after an evening out - the hotel is cool! All you need in a place to rest your head (for one night) and I would definitely go back. Breakfast and snack in the afternoon where very good and a nice cocktail.
